Stress disconnects us from belief. 
Stillness reconnects us.

That’s what the Mile Hi Church Candlelight Service reminded me.
Seven candles were lit throughout the service.

Each one centered on a word.
A principle.
A way of being.

We’re more disconnected than ever.
AI. Technology. Screens everywhere.
Notifications in every pocket.

So many things pulling us out of the moment.

Then the holiday season arrives.
And with it… a choice.

We hired a professional photographer for our Christmas photo…
And ended up revealing who we root for as a family.

We did the classic shot first… outside, beautiful scenery, dressed like we were heading to Christmas dinner.
